Victoria is recognized for driving business success for globally competitive organizations by developing strategies that enhance organizational credibility, manage reputations and effectively engage stakeholders.
Her 20 years experience, in-house and as a consultant, spans various sectors including healthcare, academia, telecom, forestry, automotive, and insurance. A strategic communicator, Victoria headed campaigns for landmark organizations including Novartis, McGill’s School of Religious Studies, Insurance Bureau of Canada, Rogers Cable, National PharmaCom, AV Group of Companies (Birla), Lafarge, BDC, Myeloma Canada, The UPS Store and Nova Scotia Tourism.
She has also organized international conferences among which the 3rd Global Conference on World’s Religions after September 11, the 13th International Symposium on Sleep and Breathing and Trauma & Transformation: The Catholic Church and the Sexual Abuse Crisis (McGill University).
With her extensive experience in strategy development and execution, Victoria has played a role in:
- Helping position Sandoz (Novartis) as an innovative, research-based partner in healthcare;
- Offsetting the threat of nationalization to the auto-insurance industry in New Brunswick;
- Engaging stakeholders through well-crafted outreach programs that generate positive media coverage, raise awareness and funds for such organizations as Rogers, Myeloma Canada and Insurance Bureau of Canada.
Victoria holds a Master of Science in Public Relations from the University of Stirling (Scotland), a Bachelor of Arts (Translation) from Concordia University and a Diploma in French Language and Civilization from l’Institut Catholique de Paris (France).
Victoria is a faculty lecturer in the Public Relations Management Program at McGill University. She enjoys sharing with her McGill students her passion for ethics and corporate communications.
