13th International Symposium on Sleep and Breathing

The Situation

Every two years, a committee of experts specialized in the sleep and respiratory field hosts an international symposium which provides a forum to exchange novel scientific information related to sleep and breathing disorders and their respective therapies.

For its 13th edition, the biennial meeting, which is held in different locations across the globe, chose Montreal as its host city.

The Challenge

To ensure the 13th edition was a success, the symposium’s local committee’s goals were to:
  • Provide participants with a comprehensive array of topics related to sleep and breathing, and
  • Enrich participants’ experience with activities that would highlight what Montreal has to offer.

The Solution

When the committee gave us the mandate to organize the two-and-a-half-day symposium, we knew it had to offer participants a seamlessly executed and memorable experience.

We did so by:

  • Producing a comprehensive program participants could rely on.
  • Tailoring our event planning services to participants needs.
  • Securing sponsorships.
  • Ensuring the work sessions were balanced with social events.
  • Working closely with the symposium’s committee to guarantee our conference management approach would meet their goals.

The Outcome

300

international participants catered to, from their arrival at the airport to their departure.

Positive feedback

from both participants and the symposium’s committee members.
